Pastor Alan Burnett grew up in Enterprise, Alabama while attending church in New Brockton, formerly named First Assembly of God. It was in this very church that he was saved and called into ministry as a young teen. It was that calling that spurred him to pursue his post-secondary education at Lee University. Alan graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Education and a minor in Intercultural Ministries. He has served on staff as both a youth pastor and associate pastor before becoming senior pastor in 2007. In April 2009 he received his ordination with the Assemblies of God.
It is Pastor Alan’s sincere desire to see individuals freed from the bondages of this life and experience the true freedom that is only found in Christ Jesus. His heart for this is displayed in every message as he gives insight in how to have a deeper and more fulfilling relationship with Christ and how to avoid and escape a superficial connection with our Lord and Savior.
Pastor Alan’s passion is driven from his own past experiences of bondages and lack of understanding in what a sincerely profound relationship with Jesus truly meant. From his deliverances and “awakening” to what Christ desires in our walk with Him, he longs to share this message of hope and freedom, true freedom with others.
Pastor Alan is married to Beth, a native of Baldwin County, Alabama, who also shares his desire of seeing individual hearts and lives being set free from their burdens and thriving in absolute freedom.
Together they have five beautiful children: Rachael Burnett Isom (married to Allen Isom), Aaron Smith (married to Haley Smith), Caleb Burnett, Angel Smith and Lauren Burnett. They also have an amazing grandson, A.J. Smith…with the hopes of more grandchildren to come! Well, praise the Lord! Grandchild #2 is on the way and due near the end of November. Congratulations Aaron and Haley!!!
